Pro-Lite Announces October Laser Safety Training Course

Places are getting booked up fast for Pro-Lite’s popular LaserVision Laser Safety Awareness Tutorial and Laser Safety Officer Training Courses which take place on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th October at the Cranfield Innovation Centre, Milton Keynes.

The awareness tutorial explains to participants the risks, the legal rights and responsibilities that go hand in hand when working with lasers. The tutorial has been designed to be easily understood, with simplified maths and is perfect for those working with lasers in industry, universities, hospitals and research institutes who wish to keep up to date with laser safety. The optional training on the second day expands upon the introductory course and is intended for those who serve as laser safety officers.

Guest presenter of the course is Tim Frieb, leading Trainer at the LaserVision / UVEX Academy in Germany. Mr Frieb boasts 9 years of practical experience and has a wealth of expertise in laser construction, interferometrical optics, holography and measurement engineering. The event takes place at the Cranfield Innovation Centre, Milton Keynes and costs £300 + VAT for day 1 and £400 + VAT for day 2. A certificate, handouts, LaserVision safety guide and refreshments are included in the price.
