Scope of the Conference

Dealing with Nano, Micro and Macro Process Engineering, System Technology and Process Optimization, LiM 2011 addresses anyone interested in the potential of lasers in application.

As the conference is a part of the World of Photonics Congress (WoP) 2011 there are joint sessions coordinated in order to highlight topics at the interface of the thematic areas covered by the participating conferences.

For the first time contributions for the LiM have been passed through a review process by the Scientific Committee. This increases and guarantees the quality of the papers and is a contribution to the scientific habits of all disciplines. Therefore, the online publication of accepted scientific contributions on Elsevier’s Physics Procedia and their incorporation into Scopus is of benefit for LiM authors.

It is the aim of LiM 2011 to bring together international experts from research and industry in order to match scientific advances and economic needs for mutual benefit. To facilitate industrial point of view presentations, application-oriented (industrial) contributions did not run through the scientific review process and are not published in Physics Procedia / conference proceedings. Authors of industrial contributions will present their results in an oral talk at the LiM conference.

You are invited to join LiM 2011 and be a part of our international community via sharing ideas in inspiring talks and discussions.
