The day comprises presentations about funding calls through the Technology Strategy Board, FP7 and the EPSRC. Hear case studies from successful partners who have delivered successful projects and proposals to obtain funding in recent calls. Give yourself the opportunity to set up collaborations and shape future calls by attending this one day event.

TITLE: Funding opportunities in High Value Manufacturing: Micro/Nano laser processing success stories

Summary

This one-day meeting at Aston Science Park is to highlight the opportunities for funding in the application of laser technology to High Value manufacturing and other funding calls. The scope of the meeting includes presentations from key funding sources as well as case studies illustrating successful projects in previous calls.

Laser technology is vitally important in the micro and emerging nanoengineering fields, providing high-resolution, accuracy, speed and flexibility. Laser technology is a key technology in innovative products used in many sectors.
