i am looking for some info on this to see if it is able to be done on the laser  can anyone help on this topic i would be grateful for any info

Hi Paul

We regularly cut mesh panels and tend to treat the material as if it's solid sheet from a cutting speed point of view. If there is more material than holes we use capacitive sensing; if there's more holes than material we use fixed height for the focus.

We've cut various mesh ranging from 2mm Mild Steel, to 12mm stainless, and with various hole patterns / diameters, and never had any issues.
